Iceland is a volcanic island located in the North Atlantic Ocean, 300km east of Greenland and 900km west of Norway. The main island lies south of the Arctic Circle. Despite its high latitude and proximity to the Arctic Circle, Iceland has a moderate climate because it’s warmed by the Gulf Stream. The temperature in Iceland ranging from -3 to 14 degree Celcius. However, the weather in Iceland is very changeable, sometimes one may occasionally experience the four seasons over a day. Since Iceland has an area of 39,770 square miles, and the population is roughly 320000, making it the most sparsely populated nation in Europe. Reykjavik is the capital city of Iceland, which is also the biggest city in this country.

During summer, you will be witnessing one of the nature’s most magnificent shows on Earth- the setting of the midnight sun. Although Iceland might be a remote nation, it also happens to be one of the most picturesque. Millions of photographers and travellers were attracted by its breathtaking Nordic landscapes and subsequently embrace it with their bodies, souls and definitely, cameras.
